THINGS TO PONDER

"Against slavery? Don't own slaves." What is the problem with this statement?

"Against murder? Don't kill anyone." Again, what is the problem with this statement?

"Against lynching? Don't lynch anyone." If you don't see what I'm getting at, message me.

"Keep your laws of my body." When I'm a politician, I'll be more than happy to keep my laws off your body. However, your child is not your body.

"Mindless." "No personality." "Parasite." "No value to society." "Unwanted." "Burden." "Money-sucking." "Useless." "Worthless." All of these terms can be applied to severely mentally retarded individuals, yet they receive protection and personhood under the law. Why is a baby inside the womb six months after conception a "product of conception" but a baby outside the womb six months after conception a full human being with rights?

Since when does being wanted or convenient decide personhood?
